Screening for Wheat dwarf virus (WDV) resistance / tolerance in the wheat gene pool and identification of QTL using association mapping

Aims of this project are screening a wheat gene pool (consisting of Triticum aestivum gene bank accessions and breeding material, different species like T. monococcum, T. dicoccum, Thinopyrum intermedium and lines developed from this material) for genotypes with wheat dwarf virus tolerance/resistance, selecting WDV tolerant genotypes as source for wheat breeding programmes and identification of genome regions which are involved in WDV tolerance by genome wide association studies.
